As a part of a Tier One Research University, the Department of Psychological, Health and Learning Sciences  (formerly known as Department of Educational Psychology) strives to provide students with the opportunity to present and learn about current research.  The Annual Houston Symposium for Research in Education and Psychology broadly focuses on research in the areas of education, psychology, individual differences, health, higher education, social work, and cultural studies.  This symposium for Research in Education and Psychology is a wonderful opportunity for students from all academic backgrounds to obtain constructive feedback regarding their research and to gain professional exposure to the valuable research being conducted by colleagues.
